Job Title: Senior Software Engineer


Job Description: Performa is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the primary role of implementing enterprise financial/business process systems for public sector clients. This position will require interfacing with clients, participating in design sessions, and becoming an integral part of the team responsible for the delivery of mission critical applications managing billions of dollars of funding.


Job Location: Annapolis, MD, and/or Remote


Minimum Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related scientific or technical discipline or equivalent professional experience

Minimum of five (7) years of experience in information systems design, analysis, and programming

5+ Years demonstrated experience with C#, .NET framework, and object oriented design/development

5+ Years of demonstrated experience with relational database design and implementation using MS SQL Server

5+ Years of demonstrated experience with ASP.NET and related technologies

5 years of experience with Java Script, jQuery and other scripting framework

3+ Years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environment



Preferred Qualifications: 


Proven experience leading and mentoring junior developers

Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems and make recommendations for remediation

Experience developing data visualization tools with Microsoft BI products

Good experience in the following: SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS

Demonstrated experience with large-scale financial applications including ERPs and accounting/budgeting applications

Good communication and customer interaction skills





 Debugs and resolves data and application issues

Provides analysis, design and development utilizing full stack Microsoft

Creates reports and dashboards using the appropriate BI toolsets.

Provides Level 2 and Level 3 support.

Works with Testers to understand defects opened and resolves them in a timely manner

(Provides on-call support if required)

Provides technical documentation as appropriate
